Soroptimist is an international organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of woman and girls, in local communities and throughout the world. There are currently over 90,000 members in more than 3,000 clubs in over 124 countries/territories. Soroptimist is a recognized authority on matters that are most valuable to women. Soroptimist uses its international voice with the United Nations to advocate on behalf of women's issues. The word “Soroptimist” was coined from two Latin words, “sorror” and “optima”, which loosely translates as “best for women”.
Soroptimist International of Baldy View meets in the Rancho Cucamonga area but serves communities in the Inland Empire through our programs. We welcome all women from surrounding communities to join us as we make a difference.
